I want to see you using correct capitalization and punctuation. I suggest that you use Read and Write Gold to listen to your answers and check your spelling to make sure everything makes sense.
Use the information from the article (the headline) to help you answer the question.
The third question asked what you thought Malala would do when she went back to Pakistan. What you wrote is interesting and you could add that as another sentence to your answer.
My painting is called family because that when all my family from my dad's side come together and go sabuo beach every summer
My painting reminds me of happiness because
I can think of the happiness I had with my family. Like the guys playing football or volleyball kids in the water playing shark. My sister’s husband Altin barbeque all day. Older guys play dominos. I think its important for family to spend a day together thats why my family goes to sabo beach.
I could use my painting to remind me of happiness because I could think of the good times with my family.
This entry/response was very detailed and I enjoyed reading it; it made me happy! There are so many great things you can do at Sauble Beach. I have only been there once and the day I went, it was cold. :( Good times with the family is an important thing. Try to keep these memories in your mind when you are feeling stressed or unhappy; the memories of it can help you!
Febuary 1, 2013 Reading Response This story is about Chris Spence and how he playjerised a article from 1989 and he was perused from his job to resigned
This makes me feel like I have trusted the wrong person
I think that Chris Spence got what he deserves because he knew what he was doing and he still did it
I see that you have made up your mind about what Dr. Spence did.
This seems like he had a very bad habit of plagiarism. I think your Retell section could have included some more details about the other things he was caught being dishonest about.
Can you explain a little more about what you mean by trusting him? And I am curious, don't you think it is possible for people to make a mistake or did he just make too many mistakes for you to give him another chance?
•Rosa parks was a seamstresses •People would come to her to fix there dresses and blouse for touch ups •She had a husband Raymond • On the bus the bus driver said move give your seat to the white person and the person beside Rosa moved but she didn’t move she standed up for herself •Since Rosa disobeyed the buss driver he called the police on her •Rosa was tired of putting white people first like moving off the side walk for them and entering from different entrance and different water fountain and different taxies and tired of not being equal with them •The other black people thought rosa did a good thing so they put up poster around the neighborhood saying “NO RIDERS TODAY; SUPPORT MRS. PARKS ATAY OF THE BUSES; WALK ON MONDAY” •I think rosa was apart of a club called NAACP •Martin Luther King jr. made a speck about staying off the buses and wait until justice runs down like water •People from all over the united stats walked for months •On November 13, 1956 almost a year after rosa arrest the supreme court said the segregation is illegal and it was wrong •Rosa got her wish every one was traded equal
1. What did Rosa parks stopped? (I would change "stopped" to "stop".
Rosa parks stopped segregation
2. How did Martin Luther king help Rosa to stop segregation?
When Rosa was in jail Martin Luther king made a speech to black people and told them to not ride the busses they walked through the hot sun and through the cold until one day the rule of black people going through separate doors or sitting on the back of the bus or drinking from different water fountain was all dropped so everyone was treated differently.
(This question sounds good, Monique.)
3. When would segregation stop if Rosa parks didn’t do what she did? (I think this is a very clever question.)
I don’t know but I think Martin Luther king would be next to stopping segregation of he didn’t die.
Why would Rosa parks stand up to the bus driver?
Wow, Monique! I think you did a great job at going through all of the questions for this assignment. Good for you.
It sounds like one of your strengths is working hard and being persistent. Try to think of another couple! You must be able to think about some good things about yourself.
Come up with 2 make-believe superhero powers as well.
